Kamal Hasan – station agent, Mobile, Ala.

 

Patience and empathy are two of Kamal Hasan’s best traits, and they suit him perfectly for his role as a customer service agent at ExpressJet’s Mobile, Ala., station.

Sometimes agents have to deal with uncontrollable factors, like fog delays. No matter the situation, Kamal goes above and beyond for our passengers.  When a flight was delayed due to fog, he helped each passenger make arrangements to get home as quickly as possible. One thank you letter from that day states, “Kamal was professional and caring and made a bad situation better.”

Kamal is able to put himself in our passengers’ shoes and see situations from their perspective. He is constantly working to ensure that each and every passenger is satisfied with their airport experience – whether a first-time flyer or a seasoned traveler.

“My goal is for every flight to go out on time and to know our passengers are happy,” Kamal said.

With more than three years of experience with ExpressJet, Kamal’s positive attitude, enthusiasm and rapport with passengers has earned him a supervisor role. In this leadership position, he supports his team, helps with daily operations, and represents ExpressJet to make every customer feel important.

Like all ExpressJet agents, Kamal is cross-utilized to work above wing (customer facing in the airport) and below wing (on the tarmac), but no matter where he’s working, the passenger is his top priority.

“The best part of my job is that it allows me to meet different people from all walks of life,” said Kamal. “Whether I am solving a problem for a passenger, or just providing an extra set of hands to ensure a flight goes out on time, I try to go above and beyond for our customers.”
