Recognizing the achievements and above-and-beyond efforts of our hard-working people is at the core of Cynthia Milner’s 13-year career with ExpressJet.
Cynthia manages the People Programs department, which cultivates programs like All Stars, our peer-to-peer recognition program; the ExpressJet Classic, our annual charity golf tournament; Award of Excellence, the annual award given to the best of the best in our company; our annual leadership conference; Bert’s Big Adventure, a non-profit organization we work with to give terminally or chronically ill children and their families the trip of a lifetime to Disney World; and so much more.
“In my position, I am able to reward the hard-working people at our airline, and empower employees to recognize the achievements of their peers,” said Cynthia.
Cynthia and her team organize all of ExpressJet’s events, including internal recognition events and volunteer events that benefit ExpressJet’s local communities. The People Programs team also seeks out and manages relationships with companies to offer discount programs on products, services, event tickets and travel perks for our people.
“I get to interact with our people, meet employees at events, and put a name with a face. I love that I am able to develop employee appreciation programs and see first-hand their positive impact. Being able to offer perks that our people like is icing on the cake.”
