Q: What form of payment do you accept for booking a group?
A: We currently take major credit cards to book group travel.
Q: Can I pay with multiple credit cards?
A: We can take a maximum of 3 credit cards for free. Additional cards will be processed for $25 for every 2 cards.
Q: I’m a travel agent. Do I have to take care of ticketing?
A: All group travel is ticketless so no additional ticketing is required. For your convenience, ExpressJet does not issue any ticket numbers. Your group will need to check-in using their booking locator.
Q: The quote for my group of 40 people is higher than what I was able to get online for 15. Why?
A: When calculating group fares, ExpressJet takes into consideration the available seats per each fare class to provide you the best group fare available for your preferred flight.
Q: Is there a contract to sign?
A: Your group terms and conditions will be provided with your quote and acts as a contract. Submission of a deposit or payment acts as acceptance of the terms.
Q: Is it possible to change my travel dates?
A: The fare you purchase for a group is non-refundable once booked and ticketed, so any change to the itinerary will result in a minimum of a $50 per passenger change fee plus any additional applicable fees or differences in fare.
Q: How about name changes?
A: You are allowed 1 name change per 10 passengers in your group rounded up with a minimum of 3. Additional name changes are allowed for a $25 fee. All name changes must be completed at least 1 business day prior departure.
Q: What if part of my group wants to travel on different dates?
A: You should book them online separately from the main group. For groups of 20 or more, please fill out the group travel request form or call Reservations at 1-888-958-9538 and provide your travel information and someone will respond via your email address within 3 business days.
Q: What if I need to add or cancel passengers from my group?
A: You can add additional passengers at the available fare if availability still exists. Cancelling a passenger will result in at least a $50 cancellation fee. Additional non-utilization fees may be charged per the terms on your agreement. Any remaining balance after ticketing will be sent reissued as a voucher.
Q: Can my group take sporting equipment or large items?
A: Sporting equipment or large items may present weights/balance or luggage compartment size issues with our aircraft. Sporting equipment or large items may need to be limited. Be sure to let your group sales agent know that you intend to carry excess baggage and they will help you determine what limitations, if any, will be applicable to your group. Additionally, your group quote will indicate your maximum total luggage weight and average luggage weight per passenger. All excess baggage charges will apply for groups without exception, please consult our Contract of Carriage on our website under Travel Info.
Q: Will I receive confirmations for my group?
A: Confirmations are sent to group coordinators via email.
Q: Can my group check-in online?
A: As of now, group check-in is not available online.
