Use this information to help you plan your trip in advance and save time when you arrive at the airport. You know you'll need picture ID but did you remember to ration your carry-on liquids into 3-ounce portions and stash them in a plastic baggie? Follow these rules and you'll breeze through the airport lines and avoid the full body pat down.
Suggested Arrival Times
Get to the airport no later than 90 minutes before your flight. This will give you time to park your car, endure lines created by heightened security measures and find your gate.
Carry-On Allowance
One carry-on bag is allowed. ExpressJet offers free valet carry-on bag service, collecting and delivering your bags to you at the aircraft door. You may also carry a small personal article such as a laptop computer, camera case or other smaller item.
Parents may also carry one collapsible stroller, diaper bag or government-approved child seat. Anything beyond these items must be checked.
Picture ID
All travelers 18 years and older must have some form of government issued photo identification, such as a Driver’s License, Passport or government Identification Card. Please make sure you have this upon arrival at the airport.
Special Needs
If you have a disability, are flying with children or have other special requirements during your flight, we’d love to be of assistance. Please notify an ExpressJet employee if in need.
Traveling with Pets
